What began as a weekly newsletter grew into something deeper…
A landing place for the moms who know that being a mom is just one part of who they are. Second is a space for honest reflections, unfiltered connection, and gentle inspiration. A reminder that you're not alone, and that you don’t have to do it all to be doing enough. Here, we’re learning to take a second for ourselves while embracing the balance in the imbalance, together.

Fellow mother & founder of second
After navigating PCOS, loss, and eventually welcoming my daughter, I found myself in a tender in-between. Maternity leave was ending, but I wasn’t ready to return to my corporate life. I needed something of my own.
Second began as a place to pour my thoughts and creativity, but it quickly became more. It’s a space for moms who don’t want to lose themselves in motherhood. A space to feel seen, supported, and reminded that who you are still matters.

Think laid-back meetups where we show up as moms but leave as friends — the kind who get that we're much more than motherhood. These aren’t your typical mom groups. We’ll craft, chat, maybe even do a little show-and-tell. It’s always fun, always real, and always a space where you can come exactly as you are.
